Another busy day yesterday, with the later Parents Evening which again was very well attended. Today has a full day in store with the presentation of achievement certificates and then trying to calculate the Walk to school numbers. It seems that once again we do not have enough badges for October. 335 children walked at least once a week, every week this month and the original number of badges sent to us was 240 badges, we then requested another 90 but we still find ourselves way short. Well done to all our children and families. We are gearing up to our sponsored walk this afternoon. The weather looks great and I am sure that we are going to have a great event. If the children finish the 10 laps they will have completed 5 miles. A great achievement. All we ask is that the children continue to collect their sponsorship money and let's see if we can beat last years total of £1600, I am sure that we can!
No newsletter this week, but we will make sure we have directed everyone to this blog and see how many comments we get back. Having a bit of a problem with the comments section.
It is interesting to see who reads the blogs that the school has set up, at the moment we are getting hits from the UK and America. I find it fascinating that someone in America is reading the blog of a Head Teacher in the UK.

A reminder that school reopens to the children on Tuesday the 2nd November at normal time.
Have a great half term, hopefully no more painting for me but a trip to Cambridge.
